To ensure your experience is as magical as it is safe, we have simplified our policies. By booking one of our tours (carriage, tram, or sleigh), you agree to the following conditions.
1. Cancellation and Modification Policy
We understand that unforeseen circumstances can arise. That’s why we have made our cancellation policy as straightforward as possible.
For regular bookings (1 to 4 people):
- Free cancellation or modification: Up to 48 hours before your scheduled departure time, we will issue a 100% refund or modify your ride time free of charge (subject to availability).
- Less than 48 hours before departure: No refund will be issued. The full booking amount will be retained.
For group bookings (5 people or more):
- Up to 14 days before the event: Cancellation with a full refund (100%).
- Between 14 days and 7 days before: Refund of 50% of the total amount.
- Less than 7 days before: No refund is possible.
Weather (Rain or Snow):
Our activities take place rain or shine. All our urban horse-drawn vehicles (carriages and trams) are equipped with a roof to protect you from precipitation. Therefore, the activity is not refundable in case of rain or snow. However, if Calèches Québec determines that weather conditions are extreme and compromise the safety of the horses or passengers, we will cancel the tour and you will be fully refunded.
2. General Conditions and Safety
Respect for our clients, employees, and horses is our absolute priority.
- Arrival time and delays: We ask that you arrive at the meeting point at least 10 to 15 minutes before your departure time. If you are late, this time will unfortunately be deducted from the duration of your ride to avoid penalizing subsequent clients. No refund will be issued for a shortened or missed tour due to a delay.
- Safety and conduct: The coachman is the master on board. For your safety and the well-being of our horses, passengers must follow the coachman’s instructions at all times. Calèches Québec reserves the right to interrupt or refuse the ride to anyone exhibiting inappropriate or aggressive behavior, or who is intoxicated, without any refund.
- Pricing and payment: All our prices are displayed in Canadian dollars (CAD) and are subject to change without notice. Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your spot. (Note: Packages or services purchased on promotion/sale are final sales and are non-refundable).
3. Privacy Policy
We take the protection of your personal data very seriously.
- What we collect: When you make a reservation, we only collect the information strictly necessary to provide our service (name, email address, phone number, and secure payment information).
- Use of your data: Your information is used solely to process your order, to contact you regarding your reservation, and (if you have agreed) to occasionally send you news of our offers.
- Protection and Sharing: We will never sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties. Credit card transactions are encrypted and processed securely by our payment platform.
